So . . . The other night my roommate Chelsea and I were doing some laundry and she was like “hey Emily, do you think you could fit in the dryer?” and I was like “I don’t know.” . . . turns out I can. haha.
Hey all!
Soooooooo . . . . can we believe that it is only three weeks till spring break? I have to admit, this semester is kind of a hugish pain. I think it’s just because I am graduating this semester, and feeling a little antsy about it.
I mean, it’s not like I’m leaving or anything–I am starting a master’s degree at UNT in June–but it’ll just be nice to have one down, you know? Anyway, best news ever. I just found out that I got a scholarship that is going to pay me to go to grad school. Woohoo! Let me just say, it pays to get good grades. Literally. So remember that, friends. 
Really though, college is definitely a time for fun and new experiences, but it’s also totally important to work hard. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what I’m going to do when I finish school and stuff–you know . . . because graduation is looming–and it is totally a scary thought! Anyway, it just makes me realize that it pays to take school seriously.
Wow. That was a soapbox. So other news . . . On Saturday my friend Sam (another Eagle Ambassador) took some promotional photos for me (for press kits and other music stuff), and it was SO much fun. We were all artsy and stuff. Maybe I’ll put one or two up in my next post.
Hmmm. So, other than that everything is pretty much the same. I’m just working, and writing horn parts for my big band arranging class, and trying to get ready for my recital.
